The traditional Oyado Hachibei Hotel Takayama is situated in the Hida Takayama Onsen district of Takayama, around a 25-minute walk from the Kusakabe Folk Museum and features 26 rooms with views of the mountain. Wi-Fi is offered in public areas and parking is available on site.
The Hida Takayama Teddy Bear Eco Village is located only 350 m from the 3-star hotel, and such natural sites as the Nakabashi Bridge are 2.1 km away. The lovely Oyado Hachibei gives access to Fujii Museum of Folk Handicraf, which is about 30 minutes' walk away. There is the mountainside Shiroyama Park 2.5 km from the ryokan.
The rooms comprise a seating area complete with air conditioning, as well as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. They are appointed with a writing table, and also feature coffee/tea making facilities.
